Hearthstone will be participating this year in the Great American Clean-up on May 2. Tom Pippenger will be in charge of this year’s neighborhood effort to clean up Hearthstone. Included in the clean-up efforts will be picking up trash, cutting out and trimming trees along the ditch, working along the trail at the South end of Hearthstone and other areas as needed such as the park. As you can see this will take a lot of volunteers.
Plan to meet at 8:00 am in front of the house at 8532 Hunters Knoll Run where a dumpster will be placed. Please no on is to put tires, electronics, hazards material or unapproved item’s in the dumpster.
Tom Pipenger will direct the clean-up. Please come ready to work with gloves and tools. Anyone with a riding tractor that pulls a small wagon to transport trash to the dumpster would be of great help.
At 11:30 for all who participate there will be a Pizza Party in Tom Pippenger’s drive way hosted by Tom’s wife. Soft Drinks will also be provided. Take the opportunity to meet your neighbors, work together and socialize.
